English Literature Since 1800

Actually, i am good at reading books or articles, so i didn't think i can enjoy this course. But i enjoyed this course because many materials are interesting for me and i wanted to know interpretation of them. i want to read the short poems more. And after i read those poems, i also want to read long poems.

The love song

This poem is so depressed... The speaker doesn't have confidence and he has negative thinking... He wants to do and change many things, but he can't do... even thought he loves somebody, he can't do anything to step up. i wanted him to have confidence and to do whatever he wants!!!!

Great Expectations

We live our everday lives with expectations of who we are. We are not some simple minded fools (although I could vouch for a few who are), we demand that we strive to better ourselves for the future. My family expects me to learn English and to get a good job in back in Japan. But everything is very stressful. Sometimes I feel like I am losing myself to the overwhelming media of my studies.

Introduction

Hello! My name is Shino Sasaki. I am an international student from Japan, and I attend the University of Central Oklahoma. My major is Biology and I want to become a Veterinarian.
Hajimemashite! (How do you do.)

I really like to learn English, and there is no better place to learn English than to start reading upon its roots of the language, such as English Literature! I hope I can learn a lot about English literature and what it is really about.
